We’ve been asked several times about recommending restaurants in the cities where we have corporate housing. Here are several restaurants that should be on your list the next time you are in New Orleans.
Domilise’s Po-Boy & Bar
Domilise’s doesn’t look like much from the outside but they may just have the best po-boys in town. The building is adorned only with a hand printed sign, and it’s been that way for decades. Inside, longtime employees sling giant po’ boys to locals, visiting celebrities, tourists and anyone with good taste. The po’ boys are generous and worth every penny of the somewhat steep price, especially the melty roast beef and crispy fried shrimp, fully dressed.

Queen Trini Lisa
As a native of Trinidad & Tobago, Lisa Nelson, better known as Queen Trini Lisa, is bringing her Trinbagonian Island Soul Food to the Northernmost Caribbean City of New Orleans. Queen Trini Lisa’s love for cooking blossomed from watching and assisting her mother in the kitchen. Heavily influenced by African, East Indian, and Asian cultures, her cuisine aims to deliciously blend their spices and natural ingredients. She is well known for her presence at many pop-ups and festivals around New Orleans. She was awarded 1st place for the Judges’ Choice Award at the 2019 Marley Gras Jerk Chicken Festival.

Casamento’s Restaurant
Casamento’s is renowned for it’s oysters, locally sourced and freshly shucked just steps from your table at one of New Orleans most historic oyster bars. Served on the half shell, lovingly fried, meticulously charbroiled or on Casamento’s signature oyster loaf, Casamento’s oyster dishes have been acclaimed by notable food critics from around the country and have made Casamento’s Restaurant a Mecca for oyster lovers from around the globe.

Marjie’s Grill
Marjie’s Grill is a casual eatery located on bustling South Broad Street down the block from the Courthouse. We are inspired by Southeast Asian bar food and the local bounty of the Gulf South. The food combines the funky flavors found on the streets of Vietnam, Laos and Thailand with open fire cooking techniques and local seasonal ingredients sourced from the farms neighboring New Orleans.

Cafe Degas
Café Degas is known as one of the most intimately romantic places in the city. Offering classic French cuisine with a creative touch of Creole, and a regularly handpicked selection of the best wines. You might think such an establishment would be better suited for the starchy old buildings of the French Quarter, but think again, this is casual dining for families, friends, and lovers.
