Bayou Rum Distillery
Bayou® Rum is distilled from locally grown sugarcane in southern Louisiana, USA. The molasses comes from the oldest family-owned and operated sugar mill in the United States. Every batch of Bayou Rum is distilled in copper pot stills, aged mostly in Bourbon casks and bottled in house. Open Tuesday – Saturday. Book a tour to learn about how they make Bayou Rum from Louisiana Sugarcane and experience a working distillery. Tours begin with a short informational video, then guests are led on an interactive tour of the distillery by a specially trained guide to see where Bayou Rum is made. Tour experience highlights include fermentation, distillation, and aging. Guests who are 21 years of age or older will then gather at the tasting bar for an opportunity to taste Bayou Rum.
