Georgia O’Keeff Museum
The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum is dedicated to the artistic legacy of Georgia O’Keeffe, her life, American modernism, and public engagement. It opened on July 17, 1997, eleven years after the artist’s death. Tickets are limited, advanced reservations are strongly recommended. Open from 10 AM to 5 PM Wednesday – Monday. Closed Tuesday.

The Shed, a dining institution since 1953 is located just east of the plaza. Look for the small, vividly colored wooden sign that marks the entrance. The restaurant occupies nine quiet rooms behind Prince Patio, a sunny brick and flagstone courtyard shaded by trumpet vines and adorned with roses in the summer. Family owned and operated under the management of the 3rd generation of Carswells. They offer a time-tested taste of the best that Northern New Mexico has to offer both in cuisine and hospitality. Wander Around Historic Downtown
Head to the historic downtown area of Santa Fe and spend the afternoon seeing the Palace of Governors, San Miguel Chapel and Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi. The Palace of the Governors is a beloved icon, complex symbol, and anchor for the New Mexico History Museum. Dating back to 1610, the Palace is the oldest public building in continuous use constructed by European settlers in the continental United States.
San Miguel Chapel, is a Spanish colonial mission church in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Originally built around 1610, it is often referred to as the oldest church in the United States. The church was rebuilt twice, once in the mid to late 17th century, and again in 1710 following the Pueblo Revolt.
Francis of Assisi is one of the most recognized buildings in Santa Fe. The twin towers at the front of the cathedral are unique to the Santa Fe downtown and are a sight to behold from the outside.
